(1) Vendor needs to provide mobility action plan development service to the government authority located in Staunton, VA. – A consultant to design and facilitate a community co–design process that enables residents, community organizations, and the city to jointly create a mobility action plan (MAP).– In this document, mobility refers to economic mobility and independence, a household's ability to move toward financial stability and opportunity, not physical or transportation mobility.– Each proposal must clearly identify the consultant’s knowledge of peer inquiry process design; and translation of community co–design results into implementation frameworks with clear roles, funding opportunities, and tracking.– This community–generated intelligence informs a second phase of broader engagement using multiple formats.– Community members, who are trusted by the residents the project intends to reach, are identified and recruited in partnership with city staff.– Community members are trained and supported to develop their own questions and gather information from their networks.– They have dedicated time and space to conduct this work– Findings are synthesized and brought back to the group(2) The contract period will be for one year.
