COTA.com Cloud Migration

The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) seeks a qualified vendor to migrate its public-facing websites and related services from on-premises infrastructure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of its broader cloud modernization strategy. The project includes migrating web hosting, domain registration, DNS, and SSL certificate management, and implementing a secure, scalable, and highly available AWS architecture aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices. The scope includes establishing an AWS landing zone; integrating AWS with COTA’s existing identity and on-premises network; migrating the main website ( www.cota.com ), WordPress CMS (author.cota.com), and trip planner applications (ride.cota.com and related APIs); implementing monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and automation via Infrastructure as Code; and decommissioning replaced on-premises infrastructure. The engagement excludes replacement of the existing WordPress CMS platform.
