Description
The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal according to the specifications set forth within this document. The County intends to use the results of this process to award a contract or issue a purchase order for the product(s) and/or service(s) stated: Purchase Description Dane County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Consistent with its Charge Up Dane County grant from the US Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Dane County is establishing the EV Advisory Commission to support OECC efforts to expand EV charging infrastructure across Dane County. EV Advisory Commission members will provide advice to OECC on the criteria for station locations and also assist with community outreach associated with station siting. In addition to the entities identified in the grant as EV Advisory Commission participants, OECC will select three entities representing environmental justice, rural and economic justice interests across Dane County. Dane County requires that all applicants complete the Vendor Application in its entirety, and sign the Signature Power Form at the end of the Questionnaire. Failure to do so may result in the application to become ineligible for funding and may not be scored. Only one application per entity will be accepted for this RFP. The Dane County Purchasing Division is the sole point of contact for questions and issues that may arise during the RFP process.
