Vendor needs to provide armory support specialist services to the government authority located in Norfolk, VA.– Provide support in inventory management, explosives safety, physical security enforcement, and customer service of Program.– Maintain strict enforcement of the physical security of weapons to ensure that 100 percent accountability is maintained at all times.– Ensures that weapons and ammunition are properly stored in designated areas.– Perform receipt, storage, issue, packing, shipping, and transfer of ordnance items and associated equipment from the armory to field offices at within the continental united sates and outside locations.– Maintain range vehicles ensuring they are in good working order for uninterrupted service of range functions.– Conduct armorer level maintenance on various types of weapons and associated equipment. Ensure weapons are in excellent working condition, have no damaged parts and are well cleaned and stowed when not in use.
