1 Inch Mill and Overlay Paving

The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Project Title project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to performing citywide 1” inch mill and overlay paving program. This work will include up to a 1.5” inch milling and overlay with 1” inches of VDOT approved SM-9.0E with a minimum Asphalt Content of 6.5% and a rap content of 15%, including utility adjustments, sweep cleaning and all necessary preparation and finish work including but are not limited to patching, restoration (when needed), sidewalk repair, handicap ramps, pavement marking, etc. Contracts will be awarded based on funding being appropriated by the City’s approved 2025 Budget.
