Description

In accordance with Section 1-13 of the Concession Rules of the City of New York, the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (Parks) intends to issue a significant Request for Proposals (RFP) for the renovation, operation and maintenance of a carousel, snack bar and family amusement venue at Forest Park and the renovation, operation and maintenance of the carousel, mobile food and souvenir units, and children's amusement rides at Flushing Meadows Corona Park. There will be a recommended remote proposer meeting on Monday, October 5, 2026, at 12:00 pm. If you are considering responding to this RFP, please make every effort to attend this recommended remote proposer meeting. All proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be submitted no later than Friday, October 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Hard copies of the RFP can be obtained at no cost, by contacting Luiggi Almanzar, Project Manager at (212)360-3483 or at luiggi.almanzar@parks.nyc.gov, commencing Monday, September 28, 2026, through October 30, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding weekends and Holidays, at the Concessions Division of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, which is located at 830 Fifth Avenue, Room 407, New York, NY 10065. The RFP is also available for download, commencing Monday, September 28, 2026, through October 30, 2026, on Parks website.
