(1) Vendor needs to provide ignition override system and installation service to the government authority located in Pittsburgh, PA.• This override system will need to be installed on 32 vehicles:– 13– 2017–2021 Ford F550s– 3– 2011 Ford F450s– 11–2006–2020 Ford E350s– 1– 2021 Ford E350– 4–2011–2020 Chevy Tahoe/Suburban• System Requirements• The device should be a completely hidden ignition override platform that allows engines to remain running with superior fail–safe override protection.• The system must allow the engine to remain running with the key removed, but cut off power if the vehicle is moved without re–inserting the key (e.g., brake released, clutch/foot brake applied, or shift out of park)• Interior Equipment Power – Must maintain power to critical systems such as radios, lights, HVAC, and medical equipment while the engine is running• Temperature Range – Must operate in extreme conditions (e.g., −30°C to +85°C)• Memory Sensing – Should detect key removal and automatically engage the override mode• Encapsulation –Fully encapsulated units to protect against dust, moisture, and vibration• Voltage & Power – Typically 12V DC (24V versions available for heavy–duty vehicles)• By–Pass Capacity – Multiple 20A by–pass outputs to handle high–draw accessories like refrigeration or medical equipment(2) The contract period will be for one year.
