RFP 189597 Seismic Hazard Identification & Risk Mitigation Program

The primary outcomes of this project are: Assessment of prior study and update of potentially eligible buildings Development of an updated seismic hazard identification and mitigation ordinance Implementation of a seismic mitigation program The below aspects are not intended to represent an exhaustive list of considerations that the consultant shall include in the project and updated ordinance. The below represent known aspects of this project that must be addressed by the project. The consultant shall apply their expertise and contemporary best practices to advise additional aspects of the ordinance update. The consultant shall propose the appropriate actions that must be taken to draft the updated ordinance. Such as actions may include, but are not limited to, meetings with city staff, interviews, review of other documentation or media, and other methods necessary to prepare a draft updated ordinance for staff review. Staff shall provide the consultant feedback regarding the draft ordinance. Once staff are satisfied with the draft ordinance update, the ordinance shall be presented to the City Council and/or the Policy and Services Committee.
