(1) Vendor needs to provide veterinary services basic medical care to the government authority located in Syosset, NY.– Examination of all animals brought to the animal shelter regarding their suitability for adoption.– Administer all necessary vaccinations and medications as required to protect the health and well–being of other animals located at the shelter and under the control of the town.– Provide the foregoing services during the normal operating hours of the animal shelter.– All medical supplies and medications including antibiotics and immunizations shall be provided for the veterinarian at the town’s expense.– Examining and promptly treating injured animals brought to the shelter.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
