(1) Vendor needs to provide professional intensive mathematical thinking development service to the government authority located in Lucedale, MS. – Provide intensive mathematical thinking professional development to improve tier i instruction.– Provide intensive professional development program that focuses strictly on increasing teacher capacity and classroom tier i instruction in mathematics.– Focus is to target teachers in 1st and 2nd grades in addressing student mathematical thinking and processes in additive reasoning; target teachers in 3rd–6th grades in addressing student mathematical thinking and processes in multiplicative reasoning; and teachers in 7th, 8th, and high school Algebra I in addressing the student mathematical thinking process in proportional reasoning. – Services will include 6 days of targeted professional development for each of the specified grade bands and mathematical reasoning areas and all materials necessary for the training for approximately 74 teachers and instructional staff.(2) This bid is researched and provided for information purposes only, and RFP/RFI/Bid document has not been included.
