Notice of Intent to Award a Single Source Procurement for Audubon 21 Gallon Double Trash/Recycling Bin

Brief Description: Audubon 21 gallon double recycling/waste receptacles for use throughout the North Terminal. Estimated Value: $207,500 (NTE) Term (Years): 1 Year Vendor: DeepStream Designs, Inc. Justification: The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) intends to procure waste receptacles manufactured by DeepStream Designs, Inc. for installation throughout the North Terminal. DeepStream Designs is the manufacturer of the waste receptacle product line currently installed in Terminal C. The requested receptacles are required to maintain standardization of airport furnishings and preserve a consistent appearance, color, finish, and overall design aesthetic across airport facilities. Standardization of these assets supports GOAA's facility design objectives, promotes a uniform passenger experience, and avoids the operational challenges associated with maintaining multiple product standards throughout the airport. DeepStream Designs has confirmed that it is the sole-source manufacturer of this receptacle product line. Because the requirement is to obtain receptacles that match and are compatible with existing DeepStream installations, no other manufacturer can provide the exact product necessary to meet GOAA's standardization requirements. Procuring an alternate product would result in inconsistencies in appearance and design between terminals and would require GOAA to manage and maintain multiple receptacle standards across airport facilities. For these reasons, GOAA has determined that DeepStream Designs, Inc. is the only source capable of meeting the Authority's current requirements.
