Debris Monitoring Services for Leon County & the City of Tallahassee

Leon County (County) in cooperation with the City of Tallahassee (City) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services for a period of five (5) years. Wherever this document refers to the County, it may also stand as a reference the City. It is the intent of this solicitation to enter into a pre-event contract (s), which would result in no immediate costs. This solicitation will result in the selection of experienced firms to monitor removal and lawful disposal of disaster-generated debris (other than household putrescible garbage) from public property, public right-of-ways and under limited conditions, private properties and private accesses, and if necessary monitor services for setup and operation of Disaster Debris Management Sites (DDMS) in Leon County, Florida, immediately after a hurricane or other disaster. Leon County reserves the right to negotiate with the successful vendor (s) for any disaster related service not specifically listed, but required during the term of the agreement.
