(1) Vendor needs to provide event sponsorship program service.• The Agency seeks to support events that promote economic development, cultural preservation, community engagement, health and wellness, and enhance the quality of life.A. Economic Development: Events that generate significant economic impact through visitor spending, hotel occupancy, and local business support.B. Cultural Perpetuation: Events that celebrate and preserve Hawaiian culture, paniolo traditions, agricultural heritage, island music traditions, and cultural arts.C. Community Engagement: Multi–generational, family–friendly events with strong volunteer participation and free or low–cost public access.D. Health and Wellness: Events promoting community health, athletic competition, and fundraising for health–related causes.E. Tourism Promotion: Events that attract international, national, and inter–island visitors while showcasing Hawaii Island.– Sponsorship Requirements• Prominently display agency branding and recognition in all event marketing materials, signage, and promotional activities.• Provide opportunities for County officials to participate in opening ceremonies, award presentations, or other appropriate event activities.• Submit detailed event reports including attendance figures, economic impact data, and documentation of County recognition.• Maintain comprehensive insurance coverage as specified in Section 8– Pre–Event: Marketing plan showing County recognition, event schedule, logistics plan, and proof of insurance.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 14, 2026.
