The Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) has received financing from the Caribbean Efficient and Green-Energy Buildings Project which are administered by the World Bank and executed by the Guyana Energy Agency , and intends to use funds to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Proposals is issued . 2. The GEA now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders to submit sealed bids under International Competitive Bidding (ICB) in accordance with the World Bank procurement guidelines for the Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Grid-connected in lots: Lot 1-Energy Efficiency Measures in 13 Government Buildings in Guyana Lot 2- Renewable Energy (Solar Photovoltaic Systems) in 13 Government buildings in lump sum bases under the scope of contract package. 3. Bidding will be conducted through the Request for Bid (RFB) procurement procedures as specified in accordance with the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Fifth Edition, September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”), which can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org. 4.
