The selected provider will deliver weekly, door-to-door transportation services for diverted youth, guardians, and community volunteers. Services must be provided by a community-based organization approved by the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office and with demonstrated experience working directly with youth and supporting consistent program engagement. They will need to have comfort and familiarity with navigating "high crime" neighborhoods. The provider will also need to possess specific skills, including, but not limited to coordinating with service providers to develop safety planning with transportation. The youth in our program may be victims of turf wars or other neighborhood issues that the team must be able to navigate, and they must exercise an enormous amount of discretion with notifying youth of the location and schedule of other youth.
