(1) Vendor needs to provide loading, hauling and disposal services of lime thickened sludge to the government authority located in North Miami Beach, FL.– The lime–thickened sludge is a by–product of the lime softening process. Sludge concentration on average ranges from 30% to 50% solids.– The Norwood generates an estimated 25,000 to 27,000 net tons per year (approximately 2,244 net tons per month), removed in loads of approximately 51,000 lbs. (about 25.5 net tons) each.– This currently equates to an average of approximately 85 to 90 loads per month (about four (4) loads per day), Monday through Saturday.(2) All question must be submitted no later than September 17, 2026.
