NOTICE TO BIDDERS TOWN OF NORTHLAKE OLYMPIC PLAZA FROM STARS WAY TO CLEVELAND GIBBS ROAD AND STARS WAY FROM SH 114 TO OLYMPIC PLAZA Notice is hereby given that the Town of Northlake is now calling for bids for construction of Olympic Plaza from Stars Way to Cleveland Gibbs Road and Stars Way from SH 114 to Olympic Plaza. All bids must be sealed and response envelope clearly marked as follows: SEALED BID OLYMPIC PLAZA FROM STARS WAY TO CLEVELAND GIBBS ROAD AND STARS WAY FROM SH 114 TO OLYMPIC PLAZA ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ADDENDUM, (IF ANY) Sealed bids shall be returned to the Town of Northlake, 1500 Commons Circle, Suite 300, Northlake, Texas 76226, prior to 2:00 PM, CDST, Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at which time they will be publicly opened and read. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. Questions regarding distribution of Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents and/or design related questions for this project shall be directed to GMcivil attention Matt Baacke, PE and all questions shall be submitted via email to mbaacke@gmcivil.com. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. This project includes the construction of a turn lane from SH114 to Stars Way and approximately 3,180 linear feet of 25 B-B concrete pavement along Olympic Plaza from Stars Way to Cleveland Gibbs Road and Stars Way from SH114 to Olympic Plaza. The improvements include, but not limited to, preparation of right-of-way, water, sanitary sewer, storm drain, erosion control, pavement marking and signage. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their proposal as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within fifteen (15) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the Town of Northlake in the amount of five (5%) percent of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds, and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Contractors for this project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the contract documents. Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds are required. The Town of Northlake reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the bids submitted in the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all bids, and/or waive formalities. Bids may not be withdrawn within ninety (90) days from date on which bids are opened.
