Design of Waterfront Facilities and Amenities

The City of Norfolk (the “City”) Department of Public Works is seeking proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to provide required services for the design of waterfront facilities and amenities, which are generally, but not necessarily, intended for recreational uses and purposes. Included among these facilities and amenities are a new boat ramp on Pretty Lake at Shore Drive, and a new fishing pier adjacent to the Granby Street Bridge. In addition to these two projects, the City may use the services of the selected firm for design, rehabilitation, or repair of other boat ramps, piers, kayak & canoe launches, docks, promenades, or related facilities. The City intends to enter into an agreement with one single firm selected to provide these services.
