Description
Skagit Transit is conducting market research to inform the potential future procurement of contracted microtransit and paratransit operations, supported by integrated scheduling and dispatch technology and a rider-facing mobile application. The purpose of this RFI is to gain a clearer understanding of current industry capabilities, service delivery models, technology solutions, and cost structures prior to development of a formal Request for Proposals (RFP). Skagit Transit welcomes responses from operators, technology vendors, and firms capable of providing either or both operational and technology components, whether independently or in partnership with other firms. Please note Amendment #1 to the RFI was posted August 13th. Please note Amendment #2 to the RFI was posted August 25th. Please note that the Project Manager was unexpectedly out of office during this RFI solicitation and responses to questions posed were prepared by staff using the information available at the time of responding. While Skagit Transit believes the information is generally accurate, some responses may require further clarification or correction once the Project Manager returns. Thank you.
