Community Engagement & Outreach– Consultant shall develop, coordinate, and implement free community sustainability engagement events,– Film screenings,– Resource fairs or expos,– Other innovative community engagement events,– The consultant shall coordinate the city’s annual student sustainability poster contest, which engages K–12 students in creative expression and learning related to sustainability topics,– Collaborating with City staff to develop a contest theme,– Conducting outreach,– Tracking submissions,2. Green Business Program & Business Engagement,– Develop and implement the annual sustainable quality awards in conjunction with the office of sustainability and the environment. consultant will support recruitment, nomination, applications, judging, outreach and promotion, event coordination, serve as event emcee (as needed), and develop post–event summary.– Participate in the development and implementation of the annual most loved businesses contest3. Communications, Data, and Program SupportA. Develop and maintain Santa Monica–specific outreach materials.B. Maintain a public webpage, email, phone line, and social media account.C.
