Ferric Chloride Solution at all NEORSD Wastewater Treatment Plants

The purpose of this bid, and the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received, is to provide anhydrous ferric chloride in aqueous solution for the enhanced precipitation of soluble phosphorous in the processes at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center, and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center (WWTPs) of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). The F erric chloride solution is used at the wastewater treatment plants to assist in the removal of phosphorus in order to meet National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit limitation s. This bid is for a 12-month period requirement contract for the delivery of up to 1,050,000 dry pounds of ferric chloride solution or until funds appropriated to this contract are exhausted.
