Street Sweeping Services

The Sacramento County Departments of Transportation (DOT) and Waste Management and Recycling (DWMR) are requesting proposals from licensed contractors for street sweeping services in accordance with this Request for Proposal (RFP). The selected Contractor will provide street sweeping services at designated areas within Sacramento County. Street sweeping services shall be performed using only California Air Resources Board (CARB), and when applicable, Sacramento Metro Air Quality Management District (SMAQMD)-compliant sweepers throughout the term of this agreement. Only alternative-fuel sweepers utilizing engine(s) that use compressed or liquefied natural gas (CNG or LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), methanol, electricity, or fuel cells OR sweepers that use fuel as defined by the US EPA Renewable Fuel Standard Program will be considered.
