Vendor needs to provide occupational health and safety technical support services to the government authority located in North Carolina.1. Assessment and gap analysis:– Review current outbreak response procedures and deployment practices.– Identify gaps, risks, and priority areas requiring new or updated policies and procedures.2. Infection prevention and control framework:– Risk categorization framework for personnel based on exposure level and job duties.– Workplace controls for office, field, clinical, laboratory, transportation, and community–based activities.– Occupational health and safety incident reporting and escalation requirements.3. Occupational health training program:– Pre–deployment occupational health and safety training requirements.– Ebola awareness and transmission prevention training.4. Outbreak response readiness program:– Pre–deployment medical and safety requirements for all personnel (staff and consultants) deploying to the extreme–risk areas both within country and abroad.– Informed consent–based health framework, including documented risk awareness and attestation.– Policy on any investigational vaccines or therapeutics.5. Medical evacuation and medical referral procedures:– Medical evacuation decision–making criteria.– Communication protocols.– Case management responsibilities.
