(1) Vendor needs to provide cardiologist service to the government authority located in Sacramento, CA.– Agency seeks a cardiologist to provide consultation on the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) Adult Cardiac Surgery Database (ACSD) and programe data elements and interpretation of patient medical record information.– Contractor shall provide consultation to agency staff within three days of request. Agency staff will submit questions regarding clinical risk factors via phone or email and provide the necessary documentation for contractor to respond. – Provide clinical perspective as needed for statistical modeling development for outcomes.– Assist agency staff with questions from medical chart auditors and other cardiologists, as needed,in the subject matter listed above in (1) through (3).– Provide an annual focused instructional training on program data element definitions for theindependent audit team prior to their re–abstraction of patient records for a sample of hospitals.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 29, 2026.
