(1) Vendor needs to provide annual fall tree planting program service to the government authority located in Quincy, IL.• Trees shall be nursery–grown in an in–ground or above–ground fabric root–control bag approved by the City Forester.• Trees shall be healthy, nursery–grown representatives typical of their species and cultivar. They shall have:a. Normal, well–developed branches;b. Vigorous root systems;c. A visible root flare;d. A trunk reasonably centered within the root mass;e. No excessive soil above the root flare;f. Astrong central leader where characteristic of the species; andg. No significant defects on the trunk or branches, including bark inclusions, major codominant stems, significant trunk wounds, or recent topping or heading cuts.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
