(1) Vendor needs to provide routine hazardous waste management and emergency response service to the government authority located in Oakland, CA.• provide on–call emergency response, collections, transport, and disposal of hazardous waste materials.• Emergency Response– The selected contractor(s) is required to provide emergency response within two (2)hours of notification, including non–regular working hours. – Contractor(s) must provide an emergency contact name and a 24/7 emergency contact number. Contractor must have sufficient resources and qualified personnel available to provide said services in a timely and effective manner.• Hazardous, biohazardous, non–hazardous or unknown waste sampling, characterization,profiling, packaging, transportation and disposal.• Crime Scene Cleaning– Remediation of blood and body fluids related to crime scenes, vehicle accidents, andsimilar incidents that present biohazards to the City.– Disinfection and cleaning of body fluids (blood, feces, urine, vomit, saliva) found inpolice vehicles.– The responding company employee must be driving a marked vehicle and be dressed inclothing identifying the company they work for.• Special Projects– Facility/equipment cleaning and decontamination, including but not limited to bulkchemical storage tanks, wash rack sumps, containment sumps and associated piping, andproper disposal of the resultant waste.– Decontamination and disposal of hazardous waste resulting from closure of homelessencampments.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 5, 2026.(4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 30, 2026.
