Identification of Motor Vehicles That Should be Assessed by The City of New Haven

The City of New Haven is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a comprehensive service to identify motor vehicles that are currently not assessed for tax purposes within the city limits. This is necessary to ensure that all motor vehicles are properly assessed in accordance with the Connecticut General Statutes. Currently, multiple methods are employed to identify these vehicles including applications for residential parking permits, parking tickets and neighbor complaints. The City seeks to supplement these methods using a Contractor who shall conduct field investigations on behalf of the Assessor.
