(1) Vendor needs to provide police mediation pilot program service to the government authority located in Pasadena, CA. – Provide mediation services for agency community–police mediation pilot program. • Program launch and ongoing coordination:– Provide the City with feedback regarding existing program forms and materials.– Ensure all mediators receive a one–hour orientation from City staff regarding Pasadena–specific mediation and complaint policies and procedures.– Participate in monthly one–hour check–in meetings with City staff to review progress and address any operational issues. • Mediation services:– Responding in a timely manner to agency staff to schedule mediations.– Facilitating mediation sessions of up to two hours.– Prior to the start of the session, review the consent to mediation document with participants and have each participant complete the document.• Community and department engagement – provide a qualified mediator to participate, alongside agency staff, in:– Up to five meetings, approximately 1 hour each, with community–based organizations.– Up to seven 30–minute informational briefings with patrol officers and staff.– The purpose of mediator participation is to introduce the vendor’s organization, answer questions about the mediation process, and help build awareness and community trust in the value and effectiveness of mediation.– Agency staff will coordinate all meeting logistics.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 24, 2026.
