Description
The Town of Mount Olive received two North Carolina Community Development Block Grant – Infrastructure (NC CDBG-I) awards on May 27, 2025. The amount of funding is $65,000 and $2,892,000.00. The State Water Infrastructure Authority (SWIA) selected the Town of Mount Olive for funding by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Water Infrastructure (NCDEQ-DWI). The project consists of the rehabilitation or replacement of approximately 14,400 linear feet of existing 8” sewer lines. The Town of Mount Olive is soliciting proposals for Grant Administrative Services to assist in the administration of the CDBG – I 24-I-4203 grant. All work for this project will be conducted to ensure compliance with all applicable federal requirements and regulations under the CDBG-I program. The fee for grant administrative services/grant management will be paid with CDBG-I funds. The project has a timeframe of three (3) years.
