The Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lockheed Martin Corporation (CAGE 7X6A9), of Titusville, FL, for facilities engineering, and warhead planning support of the Nuclear–armed, Sea–Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM–N) Program. This acquisition is being pursued under the sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302–1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements; therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. Primary work location is Titusville, FL. The anticipated period of performance is a one–year contract. A determination by SSP not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of SSP. SSP will normally consider information received as a result of the notice of intent solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
