DISPOS-10043 - USA (Covina, California) - Film-Forming Foam Removal and Disposal Service - Deadline November 4,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide film–forming foam removal and disposal service to the government authority located in Covina, CA.• 1. Removal and Isolation a. Remove all fire apparatus and properly dispose of the foam and rinsate. – All agency and rinstate removed during the cleaning process of firefighting apparatus, including foam tanks, plumbing and valves must be transported off site and disposed of properly. • System Flush and Cleaning a. Conduct 3–5 Approved chemical and agency Method 1633 (rinsate)/water flushes of the entire agency tanks, components, and piping, including external equipment such as hoses, nozzles, and fittings. b. Or provide entire foam transition with approved cleaning solution process that does not require 3–5 rinstate flushes. This process must comply with current agency Method 537 and EPA Method 1633 (rinstate/water flush must be removed and disposed of in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. c. NO treated agencyor rinstate will be prohibited for disposal in the agency sewer/waste water system. • Provide mobilization and demobilization of all required equipment • Provide rinsate treatment and required field staff for the project. (2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 26, 2026.
