Quotation Request #PR2702885 - BKR5000 Portable Radios & Accessories

Invitation to bid is hereby extended for the purchase of Bendix King portable radios and accessories for Kern County Fire. In accordance with the attached Quotation Request no. PR2702885, the County of Kern seeks to award a vendor able to provide and deliver these products as specified. Trade-in Credit Kern County Fire will be participating in the manufacturer's trade-in program. The awarded vendor will accept 71 legacy radios at a trade-in of $200 per radio, for a total credit of $14,200. The manufacturer requires that the radios be sent from Kern County Fire to the vendor for this program. Vendor Questions Vendor questions may be submitted in writing to peakera@kerncounty.com. The final day for vendors to submit questions is Friday, 11/6/26, by 5:00 PM. Bid Responses Bid responses must be submitted using the attached Quotation Request. Bids can be delivered electronically on the Public Purchase website, by mail, or in-person delivery. Emailed bids will not be accepted. Bids submitted in a format other than our Quotation Request form will not be accepted. Local Vendor Preference Interested bidders shall review the attached Local Vendor Worksheet. For this preference to be considered, a completed form must be signed and submitted with the vendor's bid reponse. Vendor Terms & Conditions Responses submitted with additional Vendor terms and conditions, or exceptions to the terms and conditions stated herein, may be rejected. Submission of a bid response constitutes acceptance of bid document and terms and conditions contained herein. Award The County shall award to the vendor that, in the County's sole discretion, submits a bid that substantially conforms to the stated requirements, thereby meeting the needs of the department and providing the best value to the County.
