INSU-6396 - USA (Berlin, Connecticut) - Health Benefits Consultant Service - Deadline September 25,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide health benefits consultant service to the government authority located in Berlin, CT. – Provide industry standard or higher quality services while maintaining a focus on providing a cost–effective service.– Periodically review the health insurance plans, claims and fees and provide a reasonability analysis in comparison with industry norms.– Analyze annual renewals for all self–insured and insured plans and periodically solicit coverage proposals from alternative providers for insurance coverage as well as stop loss coverage.– Review current plan experience, claims, and market trends, and negotiate cost savings and renewal premiums with all insurance providers on an as needed basis.– Provide a disruption analysis relative to the provider, pharmacy, hospital and appropriate other vendor networks.– Intervene and resolve with providers, problems that may arise regarding claims, proper coverage, routine administration and day–to–day account service.– Coordinate and review necessary demographic data for marketing.– Periodically conduct a claims audit which randomly reviews the accuracy of claims administration.– Provide the highest quality customer service to but particularly in the areas of reliability and billing.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 08, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for five years.
