Country : Nigeria Credit No.: IDA 70570 RFB No: NG-PLATEAU L-PRES-550664-CW-RFB The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has received financing from the International Development Association (IDA) (the “Bank”) in the form of a “credit” (hereinafter called “credit” toward the cost of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES). The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), State Coordination Office (SCO) Plateau , an implementing agency of the Client intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for Fencing and equipping of artificial insemination and breed multiplication center at Kuru Livestock Complex and upgrading of four strategic livestock markets at Zamko, Bokkos, Kara, and Amper. Payments by the Bank will be made only at the request of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Plateau State Coordination Office (SCO) and upon approval by the Bank, and will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions of the financing agreement. The Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project –Plateau State Coordination Office, Jos now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the activity. The work period is 6 months. The margin of Preference shall not be allowed. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procuremen t Regulations for IPF Borrowers” Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) available on www.worldbank.org/procure and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 3. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the office of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project –Plateau State Coordination Office (L-PRES) and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (local time) at the address given below. The Bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of One Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN100,000.00) only for one Lot. The method of payment will be by direct transfer from the firm’s account in favour of the following account: 1210440822- Zenith Bank, Account Name: Plateau State L-PRES Govt Cp Fund Ac. Proof of payment to be presented at the address below. At the bidder's request, the documents could also be sent by courier after paying an additional fee to cover the delivery cost. 5. Bids must be delivered to the address in paragraph 8 below on or before Friday, July 31st, 2026 2025 . 12:00 pm (local time) Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below 12.00 noon on Friday July 31st, 2026 . 6. All Bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” in the amount stated above and a Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and/or Sexual Harassment (SH) Declaration. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
