(1) Vendor needs to provide automated dna analysis system to the government authority located in Hawaii.• Automated gel–based DNA size selection for DNA and prepared sequencing libraries. • Ability to recover selected DNA for downstream sequencing or analysis. • Pulsed–field electrophoresis or equivalent capability for separation and analysis of large DNA fragments. • Fragment–length analysis capability up to at least 80 kb. • DNA quantification using fluorometric or equivalent methodology. • Ability to process sample lanes independently using different size–selection parameters or cutoffs. • Use of pre–prepared gel cassettes or equivalent ready–to–use consumables. • Ability to preserve unused lanes or sample positions for use in later runs. • Compatibility with next–generation sequencing workflows. • Software and hardware necessary to operate the system and analyze results. • Installation, setup, calibration, and customer training shall be included.
