(1) Vendor needs to provide certified recovery peer advocate service to the government authority located in Ballston Spa, NY. – Provide accessible, peer–based support to students who may be experiencing substance use, recovery, or related challenges; connect students and families with appropriate community resources; and strengthen coordination between schools, families, and available behavioral health and recovery services.– Providing peer–based support, education, and recovery–oriented assistance to students and families;– Helping students and families identify needs and navigate available behavioral health, substance use, and recovery resources.– Providing linkage and referral to appropriate community–based services and supports; assisting with connections to treatment, recovery support, family support, and other community resources.(2) The contract period will be for three years.
