Vendor needs to provide broker of record services for health benefits to the government authority located in Teaneck, NJ. • Procure Health Insurance Coverage: As the Broker of Record for the Board, they will be responsible for assisting the Board in soliciting competitive proposals for insurance coverage from various insurance companies.• Evaluation of Proposals; Recommendation of Award of Contract: The Broker will evaluate and analyze all proposals received through the competitive process.• Review Health Insurance Coverage––Bargaining Unit Contracts: The Broker is required to familiarize themselves with the agency's current health insurance coverage and employee contracts to facilitate a comprehensive comparison and analysis of submitted proposals, ensuring coverage that is equal to or better than existing applicable plans.• Monitor Carrier Compliance and Claims Services: The Broker will monitor and ensure carrier compliance with all plans and commitments and facilitate working relationships with the carrier and the agency.• Broker Availability: The Broker of Record shall be available to agency officials during working hours and for a reasonable time after working hours for telecommunications and electronic communication support.
