New Hope Road Bridge at Grizzly Slough Replacement Project

The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. This project will rebuild and widen an existing bridge on the southern border of Sacramento County. The existing bridge is over 90 years old and in need of replacement. The new, widened bridge will allow for 11' foot travel lanes, bounded by bike lanes to the north and south. Roadwork leading up to the bridge will take place to account for a slightly higher deck. The raised deck is due to the necessity of maintaining the soffits elevation, and the thicker bridge section. Shoulder work, RSP placement, and striping will round out the project.
