(1) Vendor needs to provide expand and integrate overdose fatality review team service to the government authority located in Somerville, NJ. • Enlist the support of a multiagency and multi–disciplinary team of professionals in a position to conduct comprehensive yet confidential reviews of overdose deaths to ultimately improve response, prevention, treatment, and public awareness services.• Develop a more robust understanding of the circumstances surrounding fatal drug overdoses.• Identify missed opportunities within systems and agencies to address prevention and system gaps.• Build working relationships between local stakeholders on overdose preventions and improve overall collaboration and communication within a jurisdiction.• Recommend policies, programs, or changes in laws to prevent overdose deaths and better serve people at risk for overdose.• Inform local and state overdose and opioid misuse prevention strategies.
