(1) Vendor needs to provide radon mitigation system includes coring, soil excavation, plumbing installation, electrical control positioning, structural mounting, and roof–top fan integration to the government authority located in Gaithersburg, MD.– The work may include activities such as creating sub–slab suction points, installing vent piping, providing roof–mounted or exterior–mounted fan equipment, penetrating walls or building assemblies as required, and installing system monitoring or status indication equipment.– A means of creating and maintaining negative pressure beneath the slab to reduce radon infiltration into occupied spaces.– Fan equipment sized and selected to provide effective system performance.– Monitoring or indication devices that allow facility personnel to verify that the system is operating.
