(1) Vendor needs to provide social skills services to the government authority located in Lakewood, NJ.• Greater awareness and understanding of students’ social–emotional needs • Fostering a positive culture and climate, effective classroom management, and implementation of behaviour plans with greater fidelity and consistency • Incorporating social emotional learning throughout the school day • More effective positive behaviour supports to minimize discipline referrals and result in greater educational success • Improved home–school collaboration, etc. • Specific trainings should assist staff members with practical application of behavioural interventions in the general education setting, during specials, and in the cafeteria. • Consultation support to specific staff members throughout the school year to achieve the following goals: assist staff members to utilize effectively the strategies discussed during training and to address more challenging classroom issues. • Provide more specific strategies and support to assist staff address more challenging student and family issues; this may include best practices for completing functional behaviour assessment, developing behaviour intervention plans, and monitoring plans; consultation to address more significant emotional issues with which students’ present; etc. • Training and Consultation to staff to implement social–emotional learning (social skills) training: this should include specific, planned and structured social skills training lessons which could occur during lunch, health education, morning meeting time, etc.
