SS-25-013 ZF Transmissions & Parts

The purpose of this announcement is to express the intent of the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (‘JTA’ or ‘Authority’) to award a Sole Source Contract to Precision Transmissions for the purchase of Genuine ZF parts or equivalent to, tools, and transmissions used in the JTA fleet of buses. The list of parts is not to be considered all-inclusive, as new transmissions may be introduced into the fleet, and those would be part of the Sole Source, as further detailed in the statement of need. Authority also requires onsite technician training; Level 1 & 2 (Maintenance & Troubleshooting) and Level 3 (Rebuild). All questions or concerns regarding this Sole Source must be submitted on the JTA OpenGov Procurement Portal https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/jtafla under the “Question and Answer”, tab or contact the Procurement Department at procurement@jtafla.com . All responses to questions will be uploaded to the JTA OpenGov Procurement Portal.
