2023 Anchor Communities Initiative (ACI) NOFA

Pierce County (hereafter known as “the County”) has made available, in accordance with Pierce County Comprehensive Plan to End Homelessness (CPEH), the following funds to provide Street Outreach Services (SOS) and Young Adult Shelter (YAS) to youth and young adults experiencing or at-risk of homelessness in the County. The Anchor Communities Initiative (ACI) funds support an integrated homeless response system of housing assistance that quickly re-houses households who are experiencing homelessness. For this funding competition, the County estimates total funding of approximately $975,579 will be available. $487,789 will be available for the period of January 1, 2024 – June 30, 2024, and $487,789 will be available for the period of July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025. The funding sources available through this NOFA include: State Department of Commerce, Anchor Communities Initiative (ACI) Document Recording Fee (DRF) Additional federal, State or local funds that may become available during the contracting cycle and allocated through this NOFA
