(1) Vendor needs to provide food and cosmetic product and packaging databases services to the government authority located in Maryland.– Develop and maintain access to food and cosmetic product and packaging databases.– Package images (legible images of all surfaces (e.g. sides, top, bottom) of product packaging, including internal and external packaging.– Food packaging types (primary and secondary) and codes. – Food content type. – Claims on package (e.g., regulated, health, nutrition, efficacy, marketing, and all other types) including indication of “healthy” on package. – Unlimited access for up to 200 FDA personnel; – Located external to FDA network (access via weblink); – Capability to perform relational searching and analyses of the food and cosmetic product labelling and packaging datasets and menu datasets in functional environments using appropriate methodologies, which shall be valid, reliable, and robust; – A user–friendly and data comprehensive interface that is transparent and flexible and allows both predefined (i.e., canned) and custom reports shall be provided. – The user should be able to conduct a multi–variable search (i.e. searching a combination of factors concurrently). – The user should be able to search and filter according to product category, year, product name, UPC, brand, company, claims, ingredients, allergens, other product attributes, and user–entered keywords in any and all fields.
