Vendor needs to provide landscaping and maintenance service for downtown assets to the government authority located in Maryville, MO. – The selected contractor will provide routine landscape maintenance for the Downtown Pocket Park, Downtown Pavilion, Alleyway, and Pavilion Parking Lot as the base contract.– The contractor shall provide, at minimum:1. Turf Maintenance• Mowing as needed to maintain a healthy appearance• String trimming• Edging sidewalks and planting beds• Removal of grass clippings from sidewalks and hard surfaces2. Landscape Bed Maintenance• Routine weeding• Cultivation of beds as needed• Removal of volunteer trees and unwanted vegetation• Pruning of shrubs and ornamental plants• Deadheading annuals and perennials• Removal of dead or damaged plant material3. Mulch• Annual application of hardwood mulch to maintain a consistent depth and appearance• Redistribution of existing mulch throughout the season as needed4. Plant Care• Monitoring overall plant health• Seasonal pruning• Fertilization recommendations (if needed)• Reporting of diseased or dying plant material• Replacement recommendations (replacement plants excluded unless authorized)5. General Site Maintenance• Removal of landscape debris• Removal of small branches and storm debris• Weed control in cracks adjacent to landscape beds• Cleaning landscape edges• Maintaining an overall neat appearance
