Description
(1) Vendor needs to provide interpreting, transcription, translation and sign language service. – Provide Spanish and Lesser–Used Languages (LUL) interpreters, transcriptionists, translators, and sign language interpreters for court users and litigants with Limited–English Proficiency (LEP) as well as users who are deaf, hard–of–hearing, and blind.– Remote Video Interpreting: The court may request a remote video interpretation event when the location of the event does not warrant the use of an in–person interpreter.– Telephonic On–Demand Interpreting: The court may utilize on–demand telephonic interpreting to provide attorneys, judges, and court staff with access to a phone bank of interpreters that provide multiple languages on–demand.– Telephonic Scheduled Interpreting: The court may request a telephonic scheduled interpreting event when an in–person or remote video interpreter is unavailable.– Transcription and translation services are used in a variety of areas including, audio or video recordings or police and forensic interviews, 911 calls, confrontation calls, jail video visitations, body worn camera footage, undercover recordings, wire taps, court documents, affidavits, letters, forms, transcripts, and brochures.– Sign language interpretation is provided for court users and litigants who are deaf or hard of hearing, and blind.– Services are provided in all case types and in a variety of settings including, initial appearances; arraignments; pre–trial hearings; trials, sentencing hearings; settlement disputes; attorney and client interview; pre–sentence investigation interviews; post–conviction matters; counseling or treatment services; meeting with probation officers; arbitration; mediation; expedited visitation; parent information classes; conciliation and family law.– Court reserves the right, during the term of the contract, to assign tasks on an as needed basis. the court has the final authority to make decisions about assignments, including the use and rotation of team interpreters.(2) The contract period will be for three years. (3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 27, 2026.
