WATER SERVICE LINE MATERIAL FIELD VERIFICATION

The Town of Payson issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified contractors to conduct a water service line materials inventory and verification to be in compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s Safe Drinking Water Act, 2021 Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR). The Town anticipates that approximately 1,300 service lines will require field verification to confirm their construction material. Field verification will take place between April 2026 and April 2027. Inspections may require visual, soft dig/vacuum inside meter box, or pothole type activities. Inspection sites may have limited access for use of equipment and require manual excavation using shovels, or other hand tools.
