(1) Vendor needs to provide authorized lockout and tagout training service to the government authority located in Ann Arbor, MI.– Providers to deliver onsite authorized employee lockout/tagout (LOTO) training for approximately 95 faculty and facilities employees.– Instructor–led, hands–on LOTO training for authorized employees, preferably in higher education, public–sector, facilities, or industrial maintenance environments.– Recommend class size and deliver the number of sessions necessary to train the full group; wcc– Anticipates approximately four to six sessions depending on the vendor's recommended class size and course duration.– Explain the purpose and application of LOTO requirements and the roles and responsibilities of authorized, affected, and other employees.– Address recognition and control of hazardous energy, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, chemical or process energy, gravity, and stored or residual energy, as applicable. train employees on equipment shutdown, identification and operation of energy–isolating devices, application of locks and tags, control of stored energy, verification of isolation and zero–energy state, and safe restoration of equipment to service.
