N0016426SNBXX REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHT Calibration services for a diverse inventory of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) PSC J052, J066, H266, H366 NAICS 541380, 8112191.0 Objective & BackgroundThis Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought (SS) notice is issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division Contracting Department, Crane, IN. The NSWC Crane Contracting Department is conducting market research to identify potential industry partners capable of providing comprehensive calibration services in accordance with OPNAV 3960.16 for a diverse inventory of Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).Currently, NSWC Crane utilizes organic support in combination with a SeaPort Task Order and a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for calibration of TMDE for navy programs at NSWC Crane. The Government is exploring the feasibility of consolidating these requirements into a single, multi–year contract (e.g., Base Year plus Option Years). The primary objective of this market research is to determine if industry is interested in running the calibration program in accordance with the OPNAV 3960.16 at the contractor`s own facility or government owned contractor ran facility.The Government is seeking capability statements regarding the calibration of approximately 2,700 unique TMDE types and ~7,000 total TMDE assets annually to ensure operational readiness and strict compliance with technical standards.2.0 Acquisition Strategy & DisclaimerTHIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY.
