(1) Vendor needs to provide legislative consulting and government relation services to the government authority located in Temple, TX. – The selected firm consultant will serve as an informed, proactive partner capable of identifying relevant issues early, communicating effectively, and supporting the city in shaping effective state–level strategies throughout the legislative session and interim.– Coordination of legislative and agency engagement plan, coordinate, and schedule visits for city officials with legislators, legislative staff, agency leadership, and agency staff.– Facilitate strategic introductions that support the city’s legislative and regulatory objectives.– Incorporate the city’s adopted legislative program, strategic priorities, and policy positions into all monitoring and engagement activities.– Monitoring legislative and regulatory issues monitor filed legislation, committee action, and floor activity relevant to municipal operations and city priorities.– Communication and reporting provide weekly written reports during legislative sessions summarizing issues affecting the city, key developments, and recommended actions.(2) A virtual pre–bid meeting will be held on August 26, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for two years. (4) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 4, 2026.
